Maru VR attended Nordic Game 2025
We’re thrilled to share that Maru VR took part in Nordic Game 2025, one of Europe’s leading game industry events, held in Malmö, Sweden.
Our co-founders, Lilit Palmar and Rein Zobel, were invited speakers at the conference, presenting a talk titled “Leveling Up: How 40 VR Projects Shaped Our Premium Game Development.”
This presentation explored how hands-on experience from developing over 40 diverse VR projects influenced the creation of Bootstrap Island, a premium VR survival game. It highlights how practical insights shaped key decisions in gameplay, narrative, interaction, audio, visuals – driving the development toward the most immersive survival experience in VR.
The talk was met with great interest from fellow developers and VR enthusiasts, and we were proud to share the behind-the-scenes evolution of our first original IP.
